The leader of the Yi tribe, about half a head taller than the average tribesman and an exception among the short-statured Southwest barbarian tribes. He is more cautious than Jia Han and suspects that the county magistrate surnamed Yang is no ordinary man. He has a painful backstory involving his mother's fatal difficult labor and rumors that he was born of a Han woman. He orders his forces to stay behind the Pu forces and keep a vigilant watch rather than take the initiative in battle.
