Second younger son of the Meng family, a bully in Changliu Village who looks down on the Zhou family. He and his brother Meng Laosi confront Zhou Zhao and Zhou Feng, accusing them of stealing fish. They shove Zhou Feng to the ground, provoking Zhou Feng's retaliation. Meng Laosan is punched squarely in the face by Zhou Feng and tumbles to the ground with a swollen cheek. He is forced to kneel and bow alongside his brother after Zhou Feng threatens Meng Laosi with a sickle. He later returns home and reports the fish incident to his parents.
