She has a one-year-old child and is addicted to mahjong, often playing at mahjong parlors and neglecting the child. She was eventually kicked out of her house by her daughter, beaten by her son-in-law and his parents, and discovered to owe significant debt. The counter-rumors spread by Li Lanlan contributed to her family turning against her.
