Leng Jun's mother, who grew up in the Soviet Union and returned to China during wartime. She married a pilot (Leng Jun's father) and they had a free-love relationship, but their marriage eventually collapsed and they divorced. She developed severe nerve-induced tinnitus causing chronic insomnia and deafness, and went back to the Soviet Union for treatment where she never returned.
