The writer of the farewell letter. A Tibetan person living near Meili Snow Mountain who suffered from a heart condition. He had a deep friendship with Tan Ying, met her when she fiercely confronted a Japanese mountaineering team. He went to Feilai Temple to ask Japanese people to leave so the mountain would reveal itself. He died and wrote this letter before his death, asking Tan Ying to light a butter lamp for him at Songzanlin Monastery if she ever returns.
