A figure wearing a gas mask and a waterproof suit from the research institute. Their gender was indistinguishable but their height was similar to the female lead. They attacked the mermaid with a fire axe in the opening scene and later tried to kill her again when her fishtail was exposed. They fled with injuries after the female lead fought back.
