Same person as Chu Youjiao, referred to as Madame Chu after entering the Duke's household. She is the mother of the original body and wife of Duke Fu of Jingwei. She is described as not adept at managing household affairs but was not revoked of her power as Mistress of the House due to Emperor Taiyong's decree. She made a personal trip back to her parental home the Chu Residence to plan her strategy. She quickly sent her granddaughter Chu Baoxue into the palace, catching Duke Fu off guard.
