The mother of Chu Lin'an and wife of one of the Chu family branches. She is willing to sacrifice her eldest son Chu Linzhang's life to save her younger sick son. She manipulates Chu Lin'an into helping Chu Linzhang by guilt-tripping him about his dying younger brother.
