Captain of the Liefeng Army, also referred to as Captain Ma and Ma Biao in the text. He led one of the six divisions of the Liefeng Army. He was arrogant, bullied commoners, insulted Marquis Yongyi's memory, and attempted to have Shen Qingwu punished. He was eventually forced to apologize and sentenced to twenty strikes of the military baton. He harbored a grudge against Shen Qingwu.
