Male, also called Old Luo, a burly man in his early thirties who transports sorghum for the Grain and Oil Station. He has a square face with thick beard, rough voice, and unpleasant smell of sweat. He is an alcoholic with a history of domestic violence; his previous wife reportedly ran off or was beaten to death. He became violent at the wedding, charging at Su Liuhe with a smashed liquor bottle.
