The father of Luo Xi and Luo Sheng, and husband of Tao Shi. He holds the position of third-rank Tai Fu Qing in the capital. His official career had declined for ten years but reversed after Luo Sheng joined the family. He is described as upright and open-minded. He does not believe Tao Shi's claims of rebirth and thinks she reads too many storybooks.
