Luo Dazhuang (also referred to as Luo Dahua) was the son of Luo Chunhua. Ten years ago, he was in his prime and earned full work points working in the fields. He worked 365 days a year without rest, leaving before dawn and returning after dark, doing every dirty and exhausting job to support his family. However, Qin Aiguo systematically stole his work points, leaving his family barely surviving with not a single extra coin. After discovering that his wife Ma Chunlian was having an affair with Qin Aiguo, Luo Dazhuang was pushed over the edge and hanged himself from a tree at the entrance of their home. Before his death, he wrote a letter documenting the theft of his work points and what he overheard about Qin Aiguo and Ma Chunlian, instructing his mother to keep it and hand it to higher officials when the world changes. His letter becomes crucial evidence in Su Yun's case against Qin Aiguo.
