The male lead of the novel. An illegitimate son of a wealthy family whose career is just taking off. He is obsessed with Su Yi and assumes Jin Zhao is obsessed with him, satisfying his secret vanity. He is proud, disdainful, and currently riding high after closing a major investment deal. He is not yet the business tycoon he becomes later in the story.
