The village chief of Lujia Village. Although he shared the same surname as Father Lu, they were not related. Father Lu called him Brother because they grew up together. Lu Rongfa was a few years older than Father Lu. In his youth, he was known for strength and agility, joined the village's guerrilla forces to fight Japanese invaders, and later became captain of the village's stretcher team. His word was law after serving as village chief for many years. He tried to mediate during the family division but ultimately let the Lu family decide their own matters.
