The husband of Hai Ninghua and father of Lu Que and his eldest sister. He was handsome with excellent temperament in his youth and they spent several years of blissful marriage before he was discovered to be unfaithful with his secretary. He got a vasectomy when Lu Que was born. He recently was found to have symptoms of a stroke and now lives in a nursing home. He signed a prenuptial agreement that gives his wife one-third of his shares if he has an illegitimate child.
