Supporting character. An elderly man who was framed by villains and sent down for reform in Xianghong Brigade. He suffered from old injuries and frail health, often coughing. Lu Jing was adopted by him and they share a father-son bond despite addressing each other as teacher and student. His wife and children sacrificed their lives on the battlefield. He is one of the three elderly gentlemen living in the cattle shed.
