Also known as Grandmaster Liu, the deceased father of Yuan Qingzhi. He was a legendary opera performer of the Qing School who lived a glorious life full of legendary achievements. He only took one direct disciple during his lifetime. His voice and singing were highly revered, with an out-of-print cassette tape of his singing treasured as a priceless artifact by Yan Guchen. Yuan Qingzhi inherited the Pear Garden from him.
