A guard in the exile procession who secretly helps the Xie family by bringing them food. He is an orphan from the Shanwu Hall, a charity run by the Xie family, and remembers their kindness from years ago. He was whipped by Li Dali for his assistance and later gave the Xie family six pieces of broken silver before departing on a crutch.
