Lu Ye's older sister. She was 18 years old when she and Lu Ye (who was 15) started living alone after leaving home. She could not go to college, so she worked outside to support them. They lived in a small rental, sleeping on bunk beds behind a curtain and cooking in a communal kitchen. She had a difficult time.
