Liu Bingyuan is a successful businessman and trustee of South Lake University who becomes possessed by dark forces after a hiking trip, leading to erratic and harmful behavior. He fires loyal employees, promotes slackers, cuts salaries, and attempts to divert charitable funds. He is eventually cured by Yan Zhen who removes black auras from his heart and head.
