Also known as Man Niang, she is the concubine of the second branch of the Mu family. She married Mu Tairan, who is over forty, at age twenty-five for wealth and status, just a month before the family's downfall. She is gaudy, selfish, and hoarded treasures while refusing to help the starving first and third branches. She throws tantrums about having to suffer exile and is confronted by Shang Yueli and Wang Shi.
