The Chief Censor and leader of the court's moral officials. He is the father of the deceased Imperial Noble Consort Lady Lin. He kneels in grief and anger at the Imperial Study Hall, demanding answers about his daughter's death, but is ultimately pacified by Yu Qijian's words and imperial favors.
