Antagonist whose family has unspoken tension with Lin Wan's family. His daughter had developed feelings for Zhou Ziqiang, and he viewed a marriage into the Brigade Leader's household as a great advantage. When Zhou Ziqiang showed no interest, the family blamed Lin Wan. He urged his daughter to ask Lin Wan to mediate, but Zhou Ziqiang rejected the proposal outright.
