A well-known bachelor in the village who, in the original book's plot, rescued the original Wen Xin after she fell into the water. He spread rumors that he had been intimate with her and harassed her. The original Wen Xin was eventually caught by him, became pregnant, and subsequently drowned herself. Wen Yuejun later beat Lin Laizi to death in revenge.
