Lin Chenian is Lin Zhitao's deceased father. He was buried on a mountain in the outskirts of Shanghai near the Lin ancestral home. Lin Zhitao visited his grave with Lu Ming'an, bringing pastries and Pu'er tea. She expressed regret for not burying him personally in her previous life and promised to visit again.
