One of the ten-year-old twin younger brothers of Lin Yuhe. The villagers and family called him Chang'an, as the elders hoped the children would live in safety. He and his brother Changping gathered firewood to sell. Changping deliberately left him at home to run errands, such as fetching Doctor Qian. He had never eaten a meat bun himself but had watched others eat them and wanted to buy some for his sister.
