Liaowu is a monk at Anjing Temple and is referred to as Liaoran's senior disciple. He is mentioned when Liaoran calls him on the phone after receiving the ten billion yuan payment, instructing him to tell all the monks to eat well and have roast chicken that evening. He appears to be one of the younger monks at the temple who looks up to Master Liaoran. When the other young monks express disappointment about not having chicken for dinner, Liaowu and the others eagerly volunteer to help slaughter the chickens when their master announces the celebratory meal after receiving a second ten billion yuan transfer from the Ji Group.
