Wang Yuan'er's youngest maternal uncle, five years younger than Madam Liang. He is married to Madam Fang and has two children: Liang Yanting and Liang Yanyan. He goes out to visit friends and does not return until the afternoon of the visit. He invites Wang Yuan'er and her sisters to stay for a few more days. He is referred to as Uncle Liang by the children.
