Also known as Boss Yu, the victim. He was found floating face-down in the river, tangled in the anchor rope. He was the boss of the Yuchun Troupe. He died by drowning, likely in the latter half of the previous night. He wore an indigo brocade robe and lived in luxury. His cabin contained play scripts, embroidered pillows, writing tools, travelogues, tea sets, and jade-handled folding fans.
