A fifteen or sixteen-year-old teenage boy in gray clothes, dusty and disheveled. He is the grandson of Li Fugui, a former landlord, making him a member of the Five Black Categories. He timidly approaches Chu Xia and Lin Xiaohan asking to attend school and offers to pay tuition. He is eager to learn despite his restricted social status.
