Also known as Xiao Man-jie, she is a young girl not yet fifteen years old who lives with her grandfather Old Li. Her family was allocated only five acres of barren land due to their ages. She helps her grandfather gather firewood and dig wild vegetables. She is shy and grateful, receiving firewood from Ah Tao and Shen Youran. During the escape, she and Old Li took good care of Ah Tao.
