Shen Qingli's uncle who, along with his wife Zhao Dahua, plotted to poison Shen Qingli and frame Zhou Yubai for her death to extort money. He pretends to be a grieving and pitiful relative in public but is actually greedy and scheming. He claims they gave all of Shen Qingli's betrothal gifts and her mother's twenty yuan to her.
