A man who sells bamboo shoots and now supplies Lin Shuwan's restaurant with fresh vegetables every day. His family lives near the mountains and goes up daily to dig bamboo shoots, gather wild vegetables, and collect mushrooms. They also own extensive farmland at the foot of the mountain where they cultivate crops such as celtuce.
