Xie Yunshu's mother, a middle-aged woman with graying hair and a naturally soft temperament. She works as a helper at a small restaurant and saved thirty yuan to give to her daughter. She blames herself for marrying Xie Yunshu off to Lu Zhixing. Though gentle and resilient, she struggles to fight against the Lu family's power. She is deeply loving toward her children and initially hesitant about divorce but gradually comes to support her daughter's independence.
