A couple who ran an orphanage in Chang'an. They were wealthy locals who, due to physical injuries preventing them from having children, sold their factory in middle age to open the orphanage. They adopted Li Fan and later took in Yuan Ruoxue. They died in a car accident in the second month after Li Fan started university, leaving him an inheritance including a house, building land, and a supermarket.
