The High God, son of the Nine Light Mysterious Goddess and the God of War of Shangye, and the only nephew of the Eastern Yang Emperor. He is regarded as the next common ruler of heaven and earth. He descended to the mortal realm for a trial of love, lived as a mortal for a hundred years, attained enlightenment and ascended to immortality. However, upon returning to the Celestial Realm, he could no longer enter samadhi due to unresolved karmic ties with a woman named Bai Yu (now reincarnated as Liuli). He is described as selfless, upright, handsome, with thick eyebrows and slender figure. He currently hides his divine roots to descend as a mortal cultivator.
