Sixth Son of the Ke family, a young scholar. He is the sixth son and his family's finances are strained. He is the grandson of Censor-in-Chief Lord Ke. During the outing, he and another scholar quarrel over poetry at a lakeside teahouse, accidentally splashing water on Xiao Nianyao's group. He apologizes sincerely and offers to pour tea as restitution. He is surprised to learn Xiao Nianyao is Third Madam Lu, wife of Lu Third Son and daughter of the Grand Chancellor. His second aunt apparently did not inform him of a marriage proposal arranged with Zhou Xiuyu, possibly to leverage a higher dowry.
