An orphan girl adopted by Farra, also spelled Karina in some parts. She is reserved, cautious, and deeply grateful yet burdened by the debt she owes to Farra. She has taught herself some writing and is under pressure to learn quickly. She is concerned about the cost of things and feels unworthy of the expenses Farra incurs for her. She often covers Bai's mouth when Bai says something inappropriate.
