Yun Shu's deceased older brother who voluntarily joined the military at age sixteen to protect his ten-year-old sister. He worked in the military camp cookhouse and brought rice back for Granny Wang to make porridge for Yun Shu. He died during a bandit suppression mission, which caused the original owner to lose her will to live.
