Also called Jun Ge, he is Liu Xiaoyan's husband. He grew up with Liu Xiaoyan and their families had an arranged marriage contract. When Liu Xiaoyan's family lost their wealth, he refused to dissolve the engagement despite his parents' wishes for him to marry into a business family. He joined the army in a fit of rage, was later promoted to platoon leader, and insisted on marrying Liu Xiaoyan. His parents eventually compromised after they married.
