Also known as Earl Pingkang. Jun Ning's father. A cowardly and calculating man who views his children as bargaining chips for power. After Jun Ning's mother died, he and Madam Lou became the true family, treating Jun Ning as a burden. He ordered Jun Ning beaten but dared not actually kill her due to her connection to General Wu'an and his own reputation. He docked her three months' allowance as punishment after the confrontation.
