She helped save Si Cheng's life by contacting experts at the provincial hospital when Si Cheng was a child. During Si Cheng's hospitalization, Zong Xuze would bring meals and accompany her. She and Zong Xuze kept Si Cheng at their home for over ten days after discharge to ensure recovery.
