Jiang Shen's cousin and deputy general manager at the branch company. He is ambitious but incompetent, relying on family connections. He is obsequious, offering gifts and cigarettes to Jiang Shen, and becomes drunk and inappropriate at a dinner, harassing Jiang Shen. He is jealous of Jiang Shen's status and tries to claim familial ties publicly. Despite his flaws, he is somewhat capable at the branch level, though his performance is diluted by favoritism.
