Jiang Xi's deceased younger sister, also called Jiang Chan or Xiao Chan. She was obedient, clever, and quick-witted, showing extraordinary intelligence from a young age. She was taken away by a wealthy uncle when young and raised in his household in the city, returning home only during summer vacations. She died during Jiang Xi's youth and had a man she was madly in love with named Lin Jia. After her death, she appears as a ghostly figure to Jiang Xi, and her death led to their mother's suicide.
