Also known as Grandpa Jiang, he is the head of the Jiang family in the village. All three of his sons are married but still live under one roof, refusing to split the family despite his initial desire to do so. He is busy drying herbs and is of similar age to Grandpa Liu, having grown up in the same village. He thinks his daughter-in-law Niu Meiyu is overthinking the situation with Liu Qishuang and the Wan family. He believes Yong'an is not the kind of person who would ruin someone's livelihood and suggests giving loquat leaves to the boy.
