The grandfather, a gentle and reasonable man who tries to keep peace in the family. He is fond of Jiang Xiaoci's sweet demeanor and warns his wife not to give her a hard time. He gets angry at his wife for making things difficult for the child and later expresses concern about rumors spreading after Grandma fainted.
