Jiang Jiaran's second sister, who is the heroine of the novel. She was originally supposed to marry Ying Zhaolou, but Jiang Jiaran was forced to become her substitute bride. In the novel's plot, Ying Zhaolou will eventually fall in love with her. The original Jiang Jiaran was used as a substitute bride to preserve appearances between the Jiang and Ying families.
