The clan leader of the Jiang family, also referred to as the clan elder. He was corrupt and abusive, having handed the position to Jiang Huairen who became a scoundrel. He initially bullied Zhu Xinyan and seized her property. Later he was punished by clan law along with Jiang Fourth and Jiang Sixth, facing fifty lashes before being handed to authorities.
