Female protagonist. Chu Tianshu's wife of three years and the woman he had been in love with for eleven years since high school. After divorce, she suffered tremendously: her daughter was abducted and killed, her son died of acute leukemia at age five or six, and her best friend Tang Xin was killed by her boyfriend. Heartbroken and filled with self-blame, she returned to Su City secretly to see Chu Tianshu one last time, only to receive notice to identify his drowned body. She kissed his corpse, drank poison from a small black bottle in her handbag, and died. She had attempted suicide before but could not let go of Chu Tianshu. In her suicide note, she begged to be buried together with him.
