He was a defensive-type esper, well-balanced and resilient to cold, heat, and physical attacks, though not as flexible in snow. He was the only free member alongside healer Bei Xue after Yan Shuang restrained three teammates. He gave his weapon to Bei Xue for protection. His weapon was grabbed by Ni Yang during the fight.
